Looking to make a significant change in the lives of their residents, The New Jewish Home hired TPD Architecture to provide interior design services for the conversion of their older institutional layout into new, more residential small house settings based on Green House principles. Working alongside the project architect, TPDA looked to support both the operational culture change as well as a nurturing environment for the residents through a welcoming and recognizable homelike setting. The interiors are kept in warm, soothing tones. A new reception desk, new lobby finishes and lighting as well as a complete artwork package for the resident space and lobby redesign complete the makeover of this beautiful facility in Westchester.
