Developed in close collaboration with the Board of Directors, the design focuses on transforming the arrival experience into a welcoming space for residents, visitors, and staff alike.
Bronx, NY
Essen Healthcare, a valued provider of community outpatient services in the Bronx, embarked on a mission to revitalize its image through a modern and inviting design.
The project involves the construction of a 38,000-square-foot, six-story medical facility on Macombs Avenue. The building will house a fully equipped ambulatory surgical center featuring operating rooms, procedure rooms, and pre- and post-operative care accommodations. Additional services will include walk-in urgent care, phlebotomy laboratory services, and primary care offices.
South Nassau, Long Island
TPD Architecture was commissioned to reimagine Mount Sinai South Nassau’s Family Health Practice to reflect a modern, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
The design vision focused on creating a welcoming, contemporary lobby and thoughtfully designed public spaces that enhance the overall patient experience, reduce perceived wait times, and promote a positive, uplifting environment for both patients and staff.

TPDA continues the design of a multi-phase renovation for the Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, NY . The proposed addition expands the facilities west wing by adding new classrooms and computer labs above an existing library. The design explores ways of combining the existing building fabric with the new through the use of materials and architectural proportions.
