TPDA continues the design of a multi-phase renovation for the Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens, NY . The design explores ways of combining the existing building fabric with the new through the use of materials and architectural proportions.
The interior transformation of the existing Centerlight facility, dedicated to providing healthcare services to the elderly and disabled community, involved a comprehensive renovation. The revitalization encompassed new paint, finishes, and millwork to refresh the spaces.
Notably, recognizing the vibrant Southwest Asian community in Jamaica, Queens, we tailored specific spaces to honor their cultural needs. This included the creation of Women and Men's Prayer Rooms, a Hindu Prayer Room, a Wudu Room, and a Yoga/Meditation Room—crafted to cater to the diverse preferences of the facility's users.
