RESIDENTIAL CONDOMINIUM COMPLEX DESIGN

SIZE: 80,000 SF / 43 FLOORS

The Condominium wanted to re-design the interior finishes of forty-three residential corridors, and commissioned Tobin | Parnes Design to develop multiple concepts. They envisioned upgrading the corridors to a standard typical of high-end NYC residential buildings, continuing the contemporary design aesthetic being introduced on the building’s new amenity floors while  providing a smooth transition from the newly designed street level lobby.
TPD reviewed the existing finishes and lighting conditions and introduced custom carpet and stone flooring options and softer lighting at the elevator vestibules. Materials were chosen for durability, ease of maintenance, cost effectiveness and were designed to blend aesthetically with the building’s new interior design finishes, both implemented and planned.
